PREVENTATIVE HEALTH CARE
At EHF, Tamra Herb a Naturopath emphasizes preventive health care through prevention, treatment, and optimal health by teaching clients the inherent self-healing process. She acts to identify obstacles of healing and recovery and facilitates the self-healing process.
Tamra as a Naturopath, takes into account every individual’s physical, mental, emotional, genetic, environmental, social, and spiritual health. She acts to identify and remove obstacles to healing and recovery, and then facilitates and augments this inherent self-healing process through understanding and treating the whole person. The focus is to identify and remove the underlying causes of illness rather than to merely eliminate or suppress symptoms. Prevention is a key element. Some of the most common ailments she treats are Allergies, Depression, Eating Disorders, Chronic Pain, Digestive Issues, Hormonal Imbalances, Obesity, Respiratory Conditions, Heart Disease, all Menopause Issues, Pre and Post Natal, Adrenal Fatigue, Cancer, Crohn’s, Fibromyalgia, Diabetes, Injury Recovery and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
Personal Training Sessions at EHF will empower you! You will focus on making real lifestyle changes, with set realistic goals. Accountability and lots of motivation will continually be there. No gimmicks or silly
contracts to sign. All clients are treated as individuals and have programs created for “their specific needs,” no cookie cutter programs here.
All your training will incorporate a balance of strength, endurance and flexibility. Programs can encompass the following: weight training, BOSO, 360 step, TRX system, free weights and machines, cardio (running and walking programs), speed and agility training, thera bands, pro bands, stability ball, step, mat exercises, deep stretching, yoga, pilates.
Boot camp classes are given Monday and Wednesday at 4 pm/5 pm and Saturday morning at 8 am.
This unique boot camp program is designed to be effective, challenging and provides options for ALL fitness levels. BCBCSD includes a variety of exercise programs to keep each workout fresh and fun.
Boot camps take place in a park environment, offering people the same freedom from germs of a gym and boredom of repetitive classes, along with the comradery.
